to go under cover as a criminal. In the comics Matches Malone was a New Jersey gangster whose idenitiy was taken by Batman after Malone died. In Batman : The Animated Series, Bruce Wayne used this identity to infiltrate Two-Face's gang and to find out where Tony Zucco was hiding.
