In the first episode she was horrified to see what her husband had become a giant bat creature. After Man - Bats battle with Batman the Dark Knight took himto the Batcave and cured him. He later returned him to Francine. Terror In The Sky When a giant bat appeared in Gotham again both Batman and Francine thought Kurt was changing into the Man-Bat again. But it was later revealed that Francine was the new Bat - Creature. Her father Dr. March had secretley been working on the Man - Bat formula. While working in the lab Dr. March droped a beaker full of the Man - Bat formula. Francine helped him pick up the broken glass. But when the glass cut her the formula got into her body and she became a Bat - Creature. Batman found a cure and gave it to her.
